The Jamie Daniels Foundation partnered with Douglas Marketing Group to enhance the visibility, effectiveness, and emotional impact of their signature fundraising events while establishing a more consistent, recognizable event brand system. The foundation was established by Ken Daniels and his wife, Lisa Daniels Goldman, whose shared commitment to supporting youth and families affected by substance use disorder continues to guide the organization’s mission and outreach. Our collaboration began by reimagining their digital experience, starting with refining the website’s structure, streamlining event pathways, and creating a clearer, more inviting journey for visitors to discover upcoming events, explore stories, and understand the foundation’s mission.
From there, we developed a series of custom event landing pages designed to transform interest into meaningful action. These pages incorporated compelling visuals, accessible event details, integrated sponsorship materials, and intuitive calls to action. To support consistent promotion across channels, we produced a suite of coordinated social assets and ensured that every event, such as the Hot Stove experience and the Jamie Daniels Foundation Celebrity Roast was supported by cohesive, recognizable, and high‑impact creative that aligned with the foundation’s brand and goals. Rather than treating events as standalone campaigns, each was developed as a brand extension of the foundation. Consistent use of colour, typography, layout, and icon elements created a recognizable visual system across events such as the Celebrity Roast, Hot Stove Stories, and Comedy Night of Hope, while still allowing each event its own personality.
Custom illustrations of hockey personalities played a central role in creating a memorable and approachable look. These illustrations added warmth, reflected the storytelling nature of hockey culture, and became recognizable elements. All supporting assets, including sponsorship decks, event programs, signage, mobile graphics, and social content, were designed as part of a unified system. The result was a cohesive and flexible creative approach that strengthened recognition, supported engagement, and reinforced the Jamie Daniels Foundation brand across every touchpoint.
To strengthen long‑term engagement, we implemented performance enhancements that improved mobile usability, increased load speed, and elevated overall SEO visibility. These upgrades supported smoother navigation, quicker access to event information, and stronger discoverability across search engines. Combined with a forward‑thinking roadmap for future integrations including donation tools, resource libraries, and event management features.
