Position Summary
- To develop web concepts and designs for client projects
- To ensure that the production process of all web design follows standard procedure
- To research and investigate competitive ideas to bring forward to management’s attention
- Bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
- Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
- Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities
Duties and Responsibilities
Execute
- Program websites and databases per project needs in conjunction with our team
- Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations
- Develop websites ensuring strong optimization and functionality
- Maintain and enhance existing Web applications (DMG website, dashboards, portals, etc)
- Develop innovative, web-based tools for DMG online division of services including (Digital brochures, blogs, dashboards, portals, e-signatures, etc.)
- Set up and implementation of Hosting client websites
- Monthly website updates for clients
- Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the Development Team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Management of AWS server stacks
- Troubleshoot and document bugs in our existing internal and external applications
- Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Report
- Generate a monthly reporting on security and website health
Knowledge Required:
- Comprehensive understanding of search engine optimization and implementation
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sharepoints
- Knowledge and comfort in using FreeBSD
- Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL
- Experience with web host management: WHM, cPanel, Lightspeed, DNS
- Advanced knowledge with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and Javascript
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL
- Complete understanding of WordPress, Bootstrap and Elementor, including custom themes and advanced custom fields
- Experience with API Integration
- Knowledge of Node.js
- Knowledge of React
- Knowledge of AWS and Cloudflare balancing
- Comprehensive understanding of AWS Stacks with the ability to read and understand
- Security and protocols with networking background
- AWS Administration skills
